INGREDIENTS (4/6 PEOPLE)

 

4 rump steaks, 3 – 5 cm thick
Salt
Ground pepper
Olive oil

RUMP STEAK

Probably the easiest recipe we have here, but our favorite. For the real meat lovers.

PREPARATION:

SEASON: Grease the steaks with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and grill immediately.

GRILL: Grill on a high fire, turning only once. When you see the juices rising, it’s time to turn it. If the steaks are very thick (as we like them) and in order not the be too raw inside, after turning them and not to burn them on the outside, leave them for a few minutes in an area of the grill without direct heat.

Never over cook these steaks. If you don’t like rare meat it’s better to grill something else. If you press the meat with your finger and if it doesn’t sag, it’s because it’s over cooked.
